I think you're right. Without forums such as these, my life would be alot duller, but also cheaper. The Corvette, such as it is these days, is a wonderful high performance car, but the urge to make yours different from the "other guy", even in things only the owner knows about, is stronger in some people. God knows, I don't "NEED" 500+ HP, but the fairly simple ability to get there is tempting, and then there's 600,700 crap, where does it end?

Ah, who the hell cares? As long as the money holds out....

This forum is a killer. You are going to love your stall/gear setup. One of the best mods I have done so far.

On the other hand, I think I am done modding. I have reached a point where I like the looks and performance of my car, and just want to drive it already!

Sacrilege! You're never done modding!

I hear you guys. Without this forum, I wouldn't know about anything I've done or that I'm going to do to my car.

I've done nothing compared to most of you guys. About 2k on my 04 since new. Exhaust, intake, heated seats, insulation, a lot of cosmetic stuff. Probably never would have done any of it without this forum. Come to think of it, somebody owes me two grand!

Mod it, Brother, mod it, I say! And, yes, this forum is the catalyst to a chronic condition of Corvette "moditis".

It definitely hasn't helped. With what I see on some of the cars at the shows and such I would still get ideas for some mods.

I would still mod the car, but I probably would not have heard about a number of the things I have done to the car without places like this forum. I would have just had to run into someone at a show or something and learned about the changes that could be made.

I would have just lowered it, and tinted my Z06....(had I not known about the forum's).

But here reading the forum I have learned too much, and seen to many people mod there car with cool stuff.

So I now have a full LG's setup (525HP/505Tq)... heads/cam/headers/etc...etc....

And now i'm broke...

But it feels great !

Default You are right

You're correct, without this resource I'd have never known about the things I've added to my car - Vette Essentials interior changes, Euro lights etc.

Save the mod!
