mod or not to mod

I've been a mod-a-holic from my first car. I think the first week that after I bought my first car ('69 Chevelle SS 396), I started to modify it. Hooker Headers, Holley Carbs, Cragar SS Mags the whole 9 yards. So, no, the addiction was pre-corvette and pre-corvette forum.

The moment i saw and bought my 2004 i was figuring how i could make it go faster. And didn't even know about this forum yet
I come from a family of hot rodders and leaving our cars stock has never been an option with us
