Default Ice breaking, corny newbie post

Well it has been a long time since I was a newbie anywhere, but here goes.
Vitals:
2001 C5 Coupe Black on Black, automatic, only 6626 miles purchased TODAY! Just watched our '95 C4 drive away. It's sad to see our first vette go.... well not really, but wished I could have kept both.
Happily married w/ 2 kids [one girl and one boy]
Love Corvettes & Hot Wheels [yes the toy cars]
member of the Bel Air Corvette Club in Maryland and by that also NCCC
I hope to learn a lot here about C5s. I have already made a mental note to check the latches on my roof panel before driving off.
A very large thanks to Dan who told me about Firefox so that I could complete my registration, IE wasn't allowing me to see the Image I needed to finish up.
Well, that's it for now.
Phil

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum
Now go get your wife a vette so the kids won't have to fight over the passenger seat

Hi HotWheelz

Welcome aboard and nice 2nd vette!

I wish I had all the hot wheels I had when I was a kid - they were right in my ballpark when they first came out. I had a whole coffee can full of red-lines.....

best regards -

Sounds like you found a nice C5. I also made the transition form C4 to C5 and have loved every minute of it. Both nice automobiles, but I just love this car.

Default goodby C4

Hotwheelz, congrats on the C5 and welcome to CF
I know your feeling. We bought our C5 about a year ago and just got serious about selling our C4. The C4 was our first Corvette and, like you, I would have loved to keep her. The C5 is a great Corvette.
