Default Anyone out there do this?

I was wondering if anyone out there besides me might just jump in their Vette and go for a ride to nowhere? Like drive so far and turn around and go back. I do this once in a while just because I love being behind the wheel. Just was wondering if other fellow forum members do this

Yep, even with gas prices where they are today, cruising and the Vert go hand in hand.

Yep. I have a couple of little routes that I take just to stretch her legs. I sometimes go to a dairy queen about 15 miles away, have an ice cream and come back. The road there and back is awesome!

...if it'll ever quit raining (AZ monsoon weather)...

What's that old saying? "It's all about the journey, not the destination.

If I had one, I most definitely would take a weekly cruise to the middle of no where...No wife, no kids, no stupid dog barking at the rabbits and squirrels...Just me and my Vette! (or 03 Cobra if I dont find the Vette I want.)

I just came back from such a ride. Just a chance to get out of the office for a bit in the nice weather.

You bet I do this. Don't need a destination or reason to get behind the wheel.

All the time or every chance I get, beats going to the shrink. When I am behind the wheel usually everything is right with the world for a while anyway.

I did just that in May. One day I just decided to go see my kids in Kansas City so packed up my vette and hit the road. 3 weeks & 4,500 miles later I was back home in SoCal

I do local mountain jaunts every week......the best therapy in the world for me!

and if the 'passenger' won't shut up, I open the QTP's...it's better than cranking the stereo. Peace isn't always quiet.
