aahh the computer sys is going haywire
so i started up the car in my driveway. i know there a half a tank, the DIC says low fuel, and the gauge read empty. im like wth
. then i reset it, and drive down the street and the light goes off and car goes back to half a tank. i filled up the tank and that seemed to all go away.i changed the oil and filter on the car about 3/4 weeks ago. i now see the oil life say 60%. im not really sure how this one happened, car was on earlier no prob. and now it was on low oil, i checked under the car in the driveway and there was no leakage.
anyways i wanna hear what you guys have to say about this.

- let's start by making sure you're not still running the original Delco side post battery. With an 01, you should be safe but check anyway - here's whyThen a common solution to the fuel gauge issue is to run a can (bottle) of good fuel system cleaner thorough it (one with Techron in it is commonly enforsed) - some types of fuel leave sulphur deposits on the fuel level sensors.
No clue on the oil life though...
