The only thing I would add is to turn the AC on high at full fan speed when you spray the Lysol in at the base of the windshield. This will suck the Lysol right into your system vents. If this method does not work, take it to your local shop and ask them about a product called Frigifresh. I think it is made by BG products. This is a foam that can be sprayed in to the vent system to kill bacteria. They also have a more comprehensive treatment where they screw a small adaptor into your platic ducting under the dash and spray in this foam to kill bacteria and freshen the system. I use lysol at the base of the windshield with the AC at full speed.
