dex-cool coolant ?

dex-cool coolant ?anybody ? please ?
the manual says use only dex-cool coolant, otherwise you may cause damage ? is g.m. saying this because dex-cool is made for aluminum blocks or is there really some advantage to using this. anyone out there use prestone or any thing else? thanx for the input in advance.

Stay with Dex-Cool. If you just have to have Prestone brand, they now offer a Dex-Cool version too. Make sure your system stays full and no worries.
