I wanted to use the windshield mount. Mine wound up under the rear view mirror, just to the left. But its a lousy spot. Where do you mount yours?
Is the beanbag mount good or a bad option?

Trigger, you've obviously way ahead of the curve, here. I assume you're talking about your Garmin nav unit, yes?
In that case... I have no idea. But it's small enough to give you several options, I should think. How about attaching it to a small hinge that allows it to fold flat on top of the steering column when not in use, then pop up during navigation? Just a thought.

I envisioned droves of forum techies to have already figured out this problem Actually, I expected EnglandGreen to have mounted one (or two) and modded it by now.
I guess I should let you know a Nuvi is a Gramin GPS unit. http://www.garmin.com/products/nuvi360/ Its small and has a single suction cup mount you stick to the winshield. The problem is that the antenna must be up to secure it into the mount. This makes it a little tall for that rakish windshield. The mount just barely has enough tilt to hold the unit where you can see it clearly.
Its my version of the popular thread, "where do you mount your Valentine". (A brand of radar detector)
Anyhow, it found a home at the base of the windshield where it doesn't obstruct the view. Now I just have to route a hidden power cord to it.

I've had a SOLO S2 [radardetector] for about 9 months now [Mounted up near the rear view window].......LOVE IT! It runs off 2 AA's, so you can easily just pull it out & mount it in any other vehicle if going on a road trip......
It's saved me from @ least 5 pullovers by the "5-0"......

I just ordered one of these today. Should have it tomorrow.
If I don't like it, I'll send it back, but for $438 vs. $900 I was willing to give it a try. It's not much larger than the Nuvi, can still fit in a shirt pocket and I think the styling compliments the C5 interior perfectly. I'm looking forward to trying it.
Unfortunately you dont have a glass top. A friend of mine sicks his to the glass top and it gives him the perfect fewing angle.
That would be a great spot!

BTW - The Garmin 350 is the same unit without bluetooth. Unless you're going to use your phone through the Nuvi unit, save the $ and get the 350.
I found the 360 for $650. The 350 can be had for around $550. Garmin doesn't have 'authorized' dealers. All warranty work is done direct with Garmin. So, find the cheapest price.
I bought the Garmin i3 to use until the 360 was released in June. Except for downloading city maps to that unit, it was great. I found the i3 for $220. I'm lazy and wanted the pre-loaded maps. I'm disappointed it doesn't have options for 'most scenic' routing. If it does, I haven't found it yet.
