This is not a warrantee company issue.
You are hosed.
Never Ever buy a used Vehicle sight unseen.
Now my 2 cents.
The guy knew this car was crap, why else would he lower the price $5,000? He makes about 50% of the cost of the warrantee as added profit on the sale. (I assume you bought the warrantee from the stealer). Then he hoped the warantee company would pay the repairs so you would not be after him. In effect ripping off the warrantee company also. Get the picture.
Fly your A** and your Dad's A** to the dealer and do a serious face to face.
Take your contract, any correspondence, copies of emails etc. Estimates and written statements from your local dealer. Pictures whatever you have.
Tell the scumbag you're calling the cops, tell him you're calling the local newspaper, tell him you're calling whoever licenses dealers in his state, tell him you're camping outside with a big freaking sign.
Or suck it up and kiss you hard earned $ good-bye
Sorry if this sounds harsh but sometimes you just have to face the cold hard facts.
