Hey guys, I just bought a 2000 C5 corvette and love the car. Only problem is when I got it the owner said the keyless entry stopped working and should try replacing the battery. Well I did that and it did not work so I opened up my manual and went through the directions it gave me to resynchronize and even matching my transmitter back up with the car. When I did it, the transmitter worked fine, then after a few minutes it would not work at all. So I have tried this about five times now and every time after about a minute or so it won't work. It acts like it just loses it memory. Any help on this issue to get this to work? I did a search on this but couldn't get exact answers. Thanks guys.
i learned on this forum if your car battery drops below 9 volts for just a milisecond it can cause the remote to lose it's program and sure enough i replaced the battery with a ompta red top and no problems since...just my .02 worth
