Default Wheels Wheels.......

What to do, what do to??? A recent mishap has left me pulling the trigger on new wheels/tires sooner than I thought. Right now I have two options I like:

Ace Slicks (ZO7) in hyperblack, 18x9.5 and 19x11. Pros: Staggered sizing, 19's look nice out back. Cons: Tire selection takes a drastic nose dive (Although I know exactly what tires I'd be running already).

or

Machine Face black insert C5 ZO6 wheels, 17x9.5 or 18x9.5 and 18x10. Pros: Look awesome, not a lot of people running them, tire selection a lot wider. Cons: 18's in rear, not sure if I want 18's at all corners which would entail going with 17's up front. (I know that these CAN be had in a 19x11, but the price goes up by $450 by doing that).

I can't make up my mind, but I've got an undriveable C5 sitting in the driveway and though I'm ok there because we're getting our other car back next week, I would like to get it roadworthy again in the near future.

What would you do???? I'm planning on ordering something on Monday if not today.

*Edit* Some background on the car, it's a Nassau Blue coupe, getting ready for 20% tint and a full blackout set. I'm leaning towards the Machine face ZO6 wheels due to the black fill in on the wheels matching with the blacked out theme on the car, and a set of ZO6 screens would probably match the machined faces quite nicely. I saw a pic of the hyperblack Ace wheels in the gallery and wansn't sooo sure that I liked that as much. Thoughts?

Hey Fastbird93, I just bought a set of Z06 C5 machined face in 18x10.5 and 18x9.5 and Kuhmos 295/35/18 back with 265/35/18 fronts all for around $1600 new! That's a bargain for new wheels and tires. When I get them installed I'll send you some pics.

How soon are you having them installed??? I'm just on the fence as to the 18's on the fronts or if I want to pony up the extra cash for the 19's out back. Either way, I think I'm going to hit the machine face wheels because having seen a Nassau Blue vert in the gallery with the hyper black ZO7's......I can't say it stuck out to me.

Might be too late, they will be on next week sometime. If you have the cash 18/19's look better, but for me the extra cost for tires is what helped me decide to go 18/18. Combined the difference was about 1000 bucks.

I'm not big on the black/machined face look, plus the C5 Z06 wheels have no depth. I vote for Z07's. Plus the hyperblack on those isn't really black. Look at the pics in the white car wheel post. They seem pretty much silver.
