In fairness, I am commenting knowledgeably about Active Handling and Competitive Driving mode on Corvettes 2001 and later, including C6s.
My comments may not apply to the original Active Handling version that was an option on Corvettes from mid-year 1998-2000.
YO-El, I believe, has a 2000. So his experience my be different from mine in my 2001, 2002 and 2006 all of which have the undated AH.
