true...but I started to ask the seller to provide one...
as a seller you should assure the buyer that you are getting a good product....if buyers start doing this...eventually it will be a standard.
as a buyer, I could be looking for a car for months...so I can see how someone would request a free one.
THan again, a clean carfax does not mean the car was not ever crashed. as a buyer write this up in the bill of sale, that car has not been crashed in there position...or ake it to a mechanic....
