c5 vs the c6 styling
am i the only one that thinks that the c5 looks better than the c6? i love to have the newest body style for a car but i cant get past seeing a vette without the popups. imho, i think the c5 kept all the same concepts of the c4 but just improved it, i wish they did that with the c6 but i dont know like how to change the c5 to make it better in my opinion...anyone else feel this way?

This is going to generate tons of replies. Of course, since you posted it in the C5 forum, I'm going to guess that people are going to come to it's defense en masse. Personally, I am one of those people. I just can't seem to warm up to the C6's styling. I'm not tryng to degrade the C6 though, it's still a cool looking car. I just think the C5 looks better.

Mine is a C5 coupe and I love the lines on her...sleek, smooth. I feel that the C6's with those headlights disrupt the flow of the front end somewhat, IMHO. I agree, the C5 is like the C4's, only improved, but has retained all the classic Corvette lines and styling. You see a C5 in traffic or coming up behind you, and there's no doubt in your mind that it's a Vette.

Hate to break the news but Corvettes started out as a non pop-up car. I think they looked right nice too cause the moment I got to sit in one at about 9 years old I knew I was in heaven. That's never changed.

BUT
This has been discused so many times in the last 2 years
of so its a subject that I guess will never end...
I own a C5 and the only things I would do to improve on the looks center around the front end..Just too plain.
The Tigershark aftermarket front end would solve this
problem...for me but I'm not about to go spending the money..
As for the headlights...To be honest I like the exposed lights...
My major wish (for all cars) is to have the gauges little red markers point straight up when everything is normal... glance down and see any red markers not
pointing straight up and you know something is about to happen...
