Depends on what you plan to do with the car.... if you just use it for street duty and no track days you may want to look into the GM ceramic pads that will leave you with much less brake dust.... the stock pads are decent for all around use and if you are going to be doing some HPDE's you may want to look into a more specific race compound pad

I use Hawk HP Plus pads. They squeak and dust like crazy but they work great, and I can drive the car around day to day, run an HPDE and drive home without any issues. HTH!!!

I use Hawk HP+ for track events, but they do, as said, trash the wheels, especially if they get wet.
I bought a set of front and rear stock GM pads for $118 from a vendor on this site - think it was gmpartsdirect.com. They are more than adequate for street use.
