I am thinking about changing out the stock exhaust system on my 03 coupe. I am interested in either a Bassani or GHL cat back system and need some advice. I listened to a Bassani system at Bloomington Gold earlier this summer and liked the sound but I have been told that GHL might also be a good choice.
Does anyone have any experiences they would care to share on either the Bassani or GHL systems? I would appreciate any thoughts you might have.
I'm really close to pulling the trigger on GHL Bullets, myself. Unfortunately, everyone around me seems to have Borla, Corsa or B&B...so I haven't really been able to hear them in person.
I have the GHL Magnums and wouldn't trade them for any other system on the market today. They have a real throaty sound; some drone at around 1700 RPMs, but hey, it's a sports car. Deal with it.

Go for the GHL's. I put on the GHL bullets last year on my 01 convt. and was just the sound the car should come from the factory with.
The finish is the best I have seen for somthing you hardly see other than the tips. I went with the quad tips and still had room to put a crome rear dress-up plate.
03, I just added the GHL bullets (6 inch cans) to my '03 A4 coupe. I listened too and read many many threads on this topic. I haven't heard the Bassani but my GHL's sound great, very throaty & not obnoxious at all. Very high quality materials & easy install. I would highly recommend them. Call Brian at GHL directly to order if you decide to purchase them.
