Default Raptor Shift light...

So I am connecting near the steering column....it has pretty quick to locate the pink cable for the 12V switched...even verified it with a DMM.

Chassis ground...no issue...

So now to the white wire...

4 white ones...figure I could use the DMM and figure it out..

There is 3 thin white and one thick white. THe thick white was for the headlights ON...okay...

Then you have Illuminated DIsplay, Skip Shift and RPM...

So the illumination signal goes high when the Illumnation Center goes on...verified this with parking lights off and ON...so that left me with two left.

So head lights off, and illumination center off....turn on the car and the one goes high...so I figure that one HAS to be it...

On startup, the proper settings show up 1 flash, 5 flash (1500 rpm) and 4 flash (4 cylinder).... settings are OFF ON OFF.

SO I test it out...rev past 1500 and nothing...tried setting 2000, flashed appropriately....revd to 2000 nothing....so I take it out for a spin...still nothing.

SO I decided to try the other white cables.....nothing.

Talk to Raptor Performance, setup with a 12V power supply, and signal generator....the light works fine....

Are 2004 Z06 wiring to the Instrument Cluster different than 2000-2004 C5's?

Also, how does the Engine Speed output work, is it driven by current?

You do have the Raptor set up as a 4 cylinder, correct? The dual bank setup in the C5 requires it.

Well, today I tried it again...freaking hot in the garage though..

All the settings were correct, I guess last time I tested it the connector I was using did not make good contact on the Engine Speed.

Since I check it out today with the supply and generator, I went back today, and applied the green onto the white by removing the insulation a bit...so this time it was a direct twist....

If it wasnt for this issue, I would have been done in less than 1hr...
