The 15 mph over is fair and reasonable and of course I concur with being careful through residential areas for the obvious reasons. And of course most people speed, and it can be done safely with intelligence instead of ignorance. All that I ask is that cops be reasonable, logical and use common sense, which from what you stated you apparently do. And yes the handling and acceleration is a great feeling along with riding in America's best sports car. As you I also am waiting to get my vette which will be arriving shortly. :D Have a good day !!
Big Law's attitude is shared by most police I know. Unless you're being WAY stooopid, they usually will shake a finger or give you a burst of the blues and let you slide. If you get pulled over, here's a sneaky little trick to pull...try showing the officer a little RESPECT!...it goes a long way. I like being a fireman and would'nt do thier job for twice the pay.
Unfortunately, the majority of cops in the Houston area aren't quite as understanding as BIG LAW MAN. I have come across several "law men" that have attitude issues. :mad
How about 76mph in a 70mph zone??? NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE :bs :bs
Fortunately, a good attorney beats the system every time :D
Z500HP,Ditto That-I have a good attorney and fortunately I don't need him often. But I've used him and he's not cheap.Point is, I'd rather pay him than the Insurance co. Most cops are O.K. I have respect for law, heck, look at the chit they have to deal with, I wouldnt want the job. It WAS cool that he warned me and let me go my way. As for tickets, I say never just pay it - call the attorney, he'll handle it :yesnod: You don't have to accumulate points -but you will pay to play :jester Don't forget to WAVE :seeya
