Question about subs
I am looking at getting a sub in the rear compartment. Is there any sound differnace in the stealth style compared to the flush mounted sub. I want good hard hitting bass, not the boom boom sound coming from the rice burners. I dont know if the stealth style looses some tone when you put the factory cover over the top of it.
And yes this is also in the radio section. But there is not to many people in there.

I've got the stealth enclosure from Sub Thump (Great Protuct 
), and it hits hard not deep. I listen to mostly country and rock, so this fits my taste perfect. Although, when you put the cover on....it does not let much sound through at all.

Bass is mono tone, but if the air it's moving is restricted, you will loose some sound.
I have a 12" Eclipse... it keeps my cargo area functional and still get clean sound... no boom boom... until I want it
