Default ECS...talk about customer relationships

This is about Doug and Chris at East Coast Superchargers/Supercars. I'm not a big spender at their shop, I had a rps clutch installed and a dyno tune done to my car. It was professionaly done and the price was on par with other shops. The thumbs up is for the fact that these shop owners really hang out with their customers and become friends. I've gone go carting in Delware with them a few times, Supercharger John's Mega Bash, I volunteered to help a forum member with his house move and chris was there, and most recently Watkins Glen Raceway for two days of hi-speed driving, with a forum members including Doug. Doug lugged my generator and EZ up canopy in his trailer. Doug even let me go on a ride along in his car at WGI, to learn. I don't know too many shop owners who'd do that with as little money as I've spent there. I've called the shop and asked questions about stuff I'm curious about, and have gotten complete answers without them selling me anything. I've stoped in the shop without buying anything, just to look around and b.s. Even the guys who are hourly employees at the shop are great, I just can't say enough about the down to earth attitude they have there. I wish them all the success in the world.

I don't think what Chris does can be honestly be classified as "work"...

I've never purchased anything from ECS, but they've always been extremely helpful when I've called or e-mailed them seeking advice. I've talked to Chris a couple of times on the phone and the one thing I've picked up on is how open and honest he is. I'm a pretty good judge of character and I think ECS is one of those rare businesses that always puts their customers first. I've held off doing some mods to my car this year because of our daughter's upcoming wedding, but I assure you I'll be ordering an A/I system from them next spring. If I lived on the east coast, they'd be doing all the work on my car.

Default ECS Rocks!

The cats at ECS are a stand up group of guys. I think they really appreciate their customers, enjoy their work and love Corvettes! That's why my car is an ECS car!

Chris did me an enormous favor on Thursday of last week...let's just say it was again "going above and beyond" and that it just reaffirmed my continued support of ECS.

That's what you and Chris should do. Open your own shop and enjoy your work at the same time. Besides I would have a place to get stuff done!

Thanks for the props, Craig. But Doug and Chris of ECS are on another level - nay, on another planet with their mad skillz. I just tinker - Doug & Chris actually know what they are doing

I hope one day I can walk in the shadow of the Great Ones (serious)

Long before I bought anything from ECS, they were there - patiently answering my million dumb questions, giving me hard advice I did not want to hear, telling me where I was going wrong, what steps to take to get where I wanted to go, letting me hang out with them, be underfoot - and this was long before I spent a single dime with them!!!!

At the time, they had no idea that I might actually be a future customer - I was all talk and no mods. So why waste the time and energy on me? Because that is how they treat everyone - not just their customers.

You know, lots of people think that all the ECS supporters are a bunch of groupies that tout and defend ECS at every opportunity, that we must get some massive discount or something. Not true. We pay the same as anyone else - after all, they are running a business. It is not a charity.

But the customer service that ECS provides is second to none. And they are good friends. That is what keeps us coming back and why we are so loyal.

Here's a big to Doug, Chris, Christie, Marc, John & Mike.

ECS ROCKS!

Do you need to leave the car for an SD tune or is it something that can be done while you wait? I desperately need a tune myself.
