ECS...talk about customer relationships

You may be selling yourself short Stephen. After this project you will know more than any GM tech knows about these cars. How many do you think could tear one down modify it and put it back together? They have different techs for trans, engine, front end etc.

They have always been very helpful and friendly every time I've called to ask a question
Before I spent a dime there I called Chris at least 10 times to ask questions and he never lost patience with me

EG, others are right, dont sell yourself short, your kickin' butt on your car!! EGS

Can't wait for the next WGI get together!!

Huck
he called it the 7-foot Lexus Principle
briefly stated - when a customer is unhappy, they vote with their feet, and in turn, tell (statistically speaking) 7 people about their level of dissatisfaction
then there is the Lexus Salesman, who demo'd a car for a guy - while driving he explained the various parts to the car and asked casually, "what sort of music do you like?" - classical was his reply, and so for a few minutes he spoke of the range of fidelity found in the speakersystem.....
A few days later the chap ordered the car, and upon delivery he was surprised to find a fine-crafted wood cigar-type box, clad inside with velvet or something equally luxurious -and filled neatly with $200 worth of Classical CD's "
--you can bet while some people compain to 7 (or more , thanks the the high view's count here at CF, lol) people for bad experiences:
- he probably would not have spoken that much to his work collegues about that new lexus she bought - afterall who (normally) likes to brag that much? (again, not talking about CF'ers lol)
- but that level of service.... im sure the whole office new about how cool the sales guy was.... and thought a bit harder about their next car purchasing being a lexus...
its the same with ECS. it seems.
good on em for reaping the rewards of the patience and knowledge they have sown freely.

Now we'll have to see what that bottom # on the scoreboard lights up with.
