99 FRC. 105K miles on it
29 MPG on the interstate, 20ish around town (depending on how heavy my foot is)
$3.05 in Virginia Beach VA (prices vary station to station)
2001 Coupe. 17 city, 26-27 highway with $3.05 for premium here in Oklahoma. Also, our toll roads are 75 MPH limit and you can get away with 80 so that's what I drive. I get 28 to 29 at 60 mph.
Doc
With our '03 Vert MN6, basically stock with Z06 Ti's, we usually get around 28.5 mpg highway driving around 75-78 mph with AC on. Best we've done highway is is 31.1 under the same driving conditions. Around town, we're around 19-21 mpg.
Premium gas here is anywhere from 3.00 to 3.17/gal. This town is famous for its "ripoff" gas prices. A lot of people drive up to Thomasville, GA. where it can be anywhere from 10-20 cents/gal. cheaper. One thing's for sure...we're all getting reamed.
Got a 99 MN6 Vert that got between 33-34 mpg according to the DIC on my latest road trip. Ran about 70 mph. Paid $3.21 per gallon for 94 Octane. Don't know about town driving. Don't look.
MN6 03 coupe and I get 20 ro 21 in town and 29 to 32 on the highway. I have 28K on it. In Louisville KY reg. is 2.95, 89 octane is 3.05 and 93 octane is 3.15. That has been steady for about a week.
I seldom get on it and drive pretty conservately. Basically because I don't have to prove to the clowns on the road that I'm badder than they are. Soooooo....I usually drive the speed limit and usually move from 1 to 4 quickly. Then from 4 to 6.
When I go on a highway trip I keep it in the right lane and set the snooze control to 64.
My mileage ratings based on the above driving habits are:
1. City: 25-27 MPG
2. Highway (Snooze control @ 64 mph): 33-34 mpg
Like I said I don't get on it often because I enjoy knowing I can. I also LOVE the fact my mileage is unbelievable for a V8 supercar like the Corvette.
BTW, as of 23 JUL 06, 93 Octane in NW PA (Erie County) is $ 3.24 - $ 3.39. Just depends which bandit you fill up at.

IMHO C5's are better on fuel than anything that has come before. I expect C6's are similar. While we don't buy these cars for mileage it is a nice surprise and Kudos's to the general's engineers.
