It is waaaaaaaaaay better. The single biggest bang for your buck - $200 for 25 horsepower.

It looks better than stock;.....that's about it IMHO. Of course, there are gonna be those with super-sensitive butts that will argue the fact of the matter otherwise.....that's to be expected, to justify the two hundred and some dollar, price tag.

It does look a lot better than the stock one.

I suppose it might provide a little more air if you've done some mods that would require there to be more air coming in, like a longer duration cam, just for example, or some long tube headers and a freer flowing exhaust system.

But just by itself?......just wishful thinking in the HP department......but, it does look better.

The blackwing is a very good start to a well modded car...

For the same price, the Halltech Stinger includes the air tunnel and a smooth throttlebody coupler. You will gain 10-15 RWHP, depending upon what you started with, intake box-wise. Both the Halltech Warhead and the Blackwing filters are very good (synthetic materials).

You know what's funny? I had a BW on my 03 coupe for a year (about 6k miles). One day I thought "you know this this thing just doesn't seem to be as smooth as it used to be". I took off the BW and went back to the stock air box with a paper filament and it ran much better. Never looked back.

I'd say closer to 10-15hp, with a much better throttle response.

A good intake/exhaust it almost a prerequeset to any serious engine mods.

one note: I have a blackwing. If I was buying today, i'd get the stinger because it's almost the same filet and it includes the bridge. I doubt there is any hp difference between the 2, but the aftermarket bridge does look better.
