Default Inner Door Sill queston?

Well when I got my vette the plastic piece on the drivers side and the passengers side was scuffed up. Its the plastic piece that is right in the door sill basically. I was wondering if anyone knew the part # and a picture of it so that I knew I am ordering the right part. Also, any instructions on how to remove it? Thanks guys

You can scrub those pretty hard. It is colored plastic. All the way through.

No I do mean the plastic piece..I was just saying that I had recently put on these stainless covers that go over top the plastic piece to cover the scuffs up....so I was worried If I removed them that I wouldnt be able to sell them or reuse them because they attached with adhesive.

What's the model, year and interior color of your car? Folks here will need to know this as a minimum to give you the right GM part number for the OEM door sills. You really should update your profile with your car's model (coupe, vert, FRC/Z06), model year, mods and any other pertinent info. This would greatly benefit others when attempting assist you.

Also, several after market dealers carry the replacement door sills. Eckler's is showing some in different colors. Click on C5 on their home page. Then on the next page that appears, enter your model year and in the Keyword(s) or Part# box enter Door Sill. Here's a link to their left side sill in black:

HTH and good luck!

I have a passenger side I am giving away for FREE (cost of shipping only), but it is not brand new. You can order these from Fred Beans for pretty cheap (somewhere around $28 for the passenger side and $35 for the driver side).

Someone said the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would clean some pretty bad scuffs off.
