I happened to have some bad luck and the insurance company believes that the window switch malfunction and allowed the nitrous to come on out of the hole and puddled in the intake. I am not some amateur or some dumb kid, I did my research and thought I had taken all of the necessary precautions. Here is a better video that my friend put together for me of the car. I now own a 2005 C6, that I absolutely love(although I still miss my Z)!

Thanks for the much better video. wish the Axx hole who shot the other video would catch fire. That video hit home as my 03 is also yellow. It was like watching my baby burning. I'm glad it wasn't and I'm sorry it was yours but I'm glad you were OK. On a side note what the hexx took the firemen so long, it seemed like a long time. can't imagine how long it must have felt to you.

So they covered it?!

Yes everything was covered! I even showed them all my receipts for the work I had done to the car(cam, nitrous, etc.).

As far as how long it took the guys to put out the fire. They said it was for safety reasons, and the whole crew at GLD was great to me. They even followed up with me afterwards. To be honest once it caught fire, the car would probably have never been the same. So at that point I didn't care how long it burned!

never seen an oil feed line come off of a turbo car huh? hell even had a rail here racing this weekend and thats NA and they trashed thier motor from 60ft out leaving the track slick with oil the rest of the qtr mile.
Mitch, you and Monnie need to kiss and make up. He's making fun of the goofballs that you hate so much....actually, that the both of you do. He was being sarcastic in saying "nawwws".

I'll agree that there is such a thing as a turbo fire as well, but when you have pressurized fuel and an oxygen in a few small lines, the chances of disaster are better. I'm sure a scientific study could reveal this, but who will do it?

Monnie isn't attacking anyone, he was just havig a bit of fun. He most likley did not realize that it might be at the expense of someone on this forum.
