Time to buy which brand did you buy? Is one better than the other?

is where i got mine. The cost? $50.....Relief from not having to worry about the column locking up on me during a 1000 mile trip? Priceless!

Thunder Racing about $50.00. Also, I would post on the For Sale Forum you want to buy one. I would suspect there are some folks who got the recall done and are now selling their locks. I saw one posted For Sale yesterday.

the recall dosen't work it will come back and bite you in the butt PLZ get the BYE pass KIT !! take it from some one who knows its worth the fifty bucks not to have to worry again

OK. I've read the recall; but can someone fill me in on what exactly the problem is or can be? And then what the fix is?

So column lock is not a matter of "if" its "when"?

I'm terrified of the whole column lock issue so I guess I really need to purchase the bypass kit.
