C5 Concepts 400 Thresher
I bought a 99 a4 with this badging listed on the vehicle. The seller (not the owner) said 5 cars were sent to Dallas for this mod in 99. If anyone has any info on what was actually done to the car, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

C5 Concepts was a company that operated in Dallas for a couple of years. I had a '98 at the time and this is the badging that I had after their work. Two versions, "Thresher 400" and "Thresher 450". The numbers refer to the minimum horsepower made on dyno. The guy that owned it (I dont recall his name, but I could find it for you if needed)was a nice guy but shop guys left a little to be desired and that was the ultimate downfall of his business, IMHO. Most of their work problems involved tuning. As far as what they did to your car, hard to say. If it is an A4, most likely upgraded torque converter, fuel injectors and tuning. I would say if the car is running fine now, then you have a "good" one.
