Default SD Tune!

Talk about making a H/big A cam car driveable You really have to drive a G5-X3 cam car without it 1st to truely see why this is so neccessary. I want to thank Team ECS as always for a remarkable tune and my C6 Z06 fender guards. I would post a pick but my file will not dn load........as usual. Hell sometimes it works and somesthimes it doesn't. If someone wants to host a pic for me I'll email it to ya. Peace out!

Are there any downsides to a SD tune that any one has found so far.... I am going with an MS4, about the same size cam.

Specs for the MS4 are: Magic Stick V.4 239/242, .649"/.609" Camshaft With Your Choice of Lobe Seperation (111 LSA Standard) and will be a little harder to dial in than the X3.

114 LSA It was very driveable but now X3 cams can be just as smooth as a stock cam. My cam is a baby 224/228 and Ive seen X3 cams idle smoother after an SD tune. Gotta love new technology!

Here you go...

Btw, the problem with your pics is that its a BMP format. CF doesnt like BMP. They only like JPEG. So I converted it. You can use any photo editing program like photoshop or whatever came with your camera.

Call ECS and ask for Chris or Doug. They are now pros with SD tuning.

Chris was telling me the SD tune is for aggressive cams. It smooths out driveablity issues like idle searching and smoother idles, low RPM (below 1500) bucking, smoother responses between shifts, etc. You would really need to drive a car with the SD tune and one without it if you never drove a big cam car to see what it's all about.
