Default Door Panel Wear

I have about 17k on my 04 and I got 2 spots that I rest my boney azzed elbows on. One on the consol and one on the top of the door panel. They are both showing wear, primarily from turning a lighter color. Kinda like I'm wearing the black dye off. Any one know the rub on fixing this without changing my driving style or cutting off my arms?

It'll be cheaper to cut off your arm

...a nice (expensive Egyptian cotton if you want) black cotton towel over those areas?

There is a vendor around here called Dr. Vinyl that specializes in repairing items like that. They can dye the spots to match the rest of the panel/console - you might want to see if there is a vendor like that around your area.

Default The Dealer Replaced both Door Panels for me

I had that same discoloration and my door panels were coming apart at the arm rest. I took it into the dealer and they ordered new ones under warranty. I had 17k on mine when it started doing it back in April. Hit the dealer up and see what they say. Also look to see if your panels are coming apart at the armrest where it curves up to the door panel. Just my opinion.
