My vert is in the dealership getting some electrical gremlins handled under warranty. At the same time, I'm having them perform the 60k service (transmission fluid replacement, etc.). I just realized that I forgot to remove my Window Valet when I took the car in. I hope I don't come to regret that oversight...
My dealer has been superb thus far about handing warranty issues, so hopefully, no big deal.
I'm thinking about driving over there and if I see my car, tell them "I forgot something" and go in there and pull it out. Probably too late if there's a problem, however. Ech...

They will need to take it out if they need to access the diagnostics port for anything. Maybe you should call them to let them know it is there just in case it goes missing if they pull it out.

It's certainly not a permanent modification that would affect the performance of the vehicle, and I agree with StephenT, if they have to access the OBDII port, they'll find it. You might give them a call and ask them to leave it in the glove box or console for you. They will then know that you know it was there and will be looking at them if it is missing.....

I wouldn't think it would void any warranty. But good advice to let them know to put it where you can find it if they remove it.
