the "Wave"....
In Orlando Fl , it seems to me that only a few of the vette owners i come in contact with will wave, but most wont even acknoledge another vette....WTF.
But what i wanted to ask is, do you guys wave to SS Cameros, WS6 Trans Ams ect.?
Ill wave if i get one first...

I wave at any car that looks like the owner is into cars. I don't wave at stock v-6 mustangs or camaro's. But I do wave at lowered stangs with tasteful aftermarket and laugh at the ones who are riced out.
I like cars and the culture in general. Vette just happens to be the best one for the money.
And the best-looking too.

I wave at other Vettes and people I know only...because "the wave" is supposed to be a "Vette thing." I will ackknowledge others that wave to me...just not a wave like I was waving to another Vette. Does that make sense?

From what I've seen, it would be my guess that most of the Orlando crowd are foreigners and don't know or care squat about American traditions. They do know that a Vette will give them the most bang for a buck. Here is a wave from NYC.

I'm against the grain. I stretch my arm out as far as I can and give a thumbs-up, not a wave. Just never got into the little wave. And, I give thumbs to anything resembling a great "muscle" car. Growing up in a car-loving family does that to a person.

Well i know that its not just a Vette thing, before i had a Vette i owned a WRX and did it then, and my Wife has a S2000 and they do it.....
