I'm from Hershey,PA. I was out Saturday...beautiful day. Passed 8 vettes, only one waved back. There were 5 of them bumper to bumper on a 2 lane (322), I had my arm out the window, not one waved back. I look forward to this bond when I'm out. Just venting...disappointed.
either they didn't see you or maybe they just didn't see you?
don't sweat it, I was out on saturday and I saw 3 other C5's, I waved and I don't know if they waved back (didn't really see any wave), but it doesn't matter, maybe they didn't see me until it was too late, or maybe they waved and I didn't see it.
who cares!
I know I waved.

Oh that was you? I didnt wave back coz I thought you were just getting air to your armpits.
I've mainly stopped getting upset, I just make sure I wave at every single oppurtunity I have. I miss a few from time to time but not from lack of trying!

You know this is a great perspective to carry over to life in general. Just make sure YOU do the responsible thing and don't worry about wheather others do or not. That is THEIR responsibility. I wave and I love it when others do to but I'm not going to stress about not getting a wave back. I KNOW there are times when I miss another vette until it's too late or I miss them all together. What must they think of me???

When it comes to usage of the English language, I am never incorrect.
redolent
c.1400, from O.Fr. redolent "emitting an odor," from L. redolentem, prp. of redolere "emit a scent," from re-, intensive prefix + olere "give off a smell" (see olfactory).
Since I used the adjective "sweet" as a descriptor for "redolent", this is correct. It reinforces the verb "smell"
sweet (adj.)
O.E. swete "pleasing to the senses, mind or feelings," from P.Gmc. *swotijaz (cf. O.S. swoti, Swed. söt, Dan. sød, M.Du. soete, Du. zoet, O.H.G. swuozi, Ger. süß), from PIE base *swad- (Skt. svadus "sweet;" Gk. hedys "sweet, pleasant, agreeable," hedone "pleasure;" L. suavis "sweet," suadere "to advise," prop. "to make something pleasant to").
I'll tell ya, if you want waves you should ride a motorcycle - anykind it does not matter. Just got back from a 1000 mile road trip to eastern Ohio with some friends - Dayum almost everybody was waving.
