I was looking at an old Corvette magazine and it looks like the C4 had Glass Gauges. Is this true? and if it is why did GM go back to Steam Gauges and not continue the Glass Cockpit in the C5? It looked pretty awesome and cool
yes, the C4 had digital gauges, but I don't think they were as reliable as the analog ones, nor do I think they were as accepted by owners as the analog ones. Not truely a glass cockpit, but close....

becuase the glass cockpit in the c4 was cheezy, and looked like an atari video game. They actualyl switched to a glass/analog cockpit midway through.. around '93.
I would much rather have the gauges that we have in the C5 than the ones in the C4! The C5 gauges look like they're floating in air at night when you have the lights on.
I'm assuming you're a pilot...asking about a glass cockpit. But, as has been said allready the C4's weren't totally true glass cockpits, but they looked very dated. And weren't as accurate as the C5's.
Sorry, I should have been more specific re: Steam Gauges vs. Glass. Your right, in aviation we call that "All Glass vs. Steam Gauges" I guess now in modern times with all new airplanes being "Glass" I have got used to them being cool and extremely easy on the eyes. Even the C6 doesn't have "Glass"
