Default Anti lock module location

Hello,

If I recall correctly, In early C5 ('97) the antilock module was located right behind the differential. Is it the same for all C5 years? Is it the same for Z06?

Thanks,
ismaelg

No. The later versions have the EBTCM located in front of the engine. That's where it is on my '99. Not sure if '99 was the first year for the change of location or not. HTH

Thanks a lot! Is that visible / easily accesible? Do you have any pictures?

Thanks,

No pix, but very visible and very accessible. It's above the steering rack and far enough forward of the engine that getting to it is not very difficult. It also doesn't get coated with the road grime that I have seen on the earlier locations.
