Daleford, a nice looking car, but that isn't a Greenwood kit you have there. It is made by Mold Kraft, who built the early C4 kits for Greenwood. MK's C5 kit is their own design and has nothing to do with Greenwood. You can see the difference by checking out the Greenwood G5 here: http://www.greenwoodcorvettes.net/gc5/index.htm
The biggest difference between the two kits (besides $) is that the MK kit adresses the fashion of aesthetics, while the Greenwood kit deals with the science of aerodynamics. Most people think body kits are just icing on the cake (and most are), but a true aerodynamics package is a performance item.
I understand what you are saying. The name GREENWOOD pops up everywhere these days. MoldCraft does use the name in their promotions, even though I know they were involved with Greenwood only on the earlier cars.
I didn't realize there was another Greenwood company producing fiberglass add-ons. And in Florida as well ! Probably a war going on there!
Well I must say im not a big fan of that body kit, especially the front bumper kit. Just looks like a big piece of plastic bulging off the bumper. The side skirts are ok and the back bumper again is just not my cup of tea. The car however looks very well kept and clean. I love that color!
P.S. that thing needs to be lowered that wheel gap is pretty excessive.

Yes, I will be working on wheel gap when my alignment man gets back in town. Going to lower the back which will help bring the front up a touch.
I can not remember seeing a stock Vette that high in the back. You'll need to go with longer rear bolts as the stock bolts will only let you lower it about 1".
I like the color, but the kit itself looks like a universal application designed to go on anything. It doesn't flow at all with the vette body lines. Just my .02.

Thanks for that. I am at the end of adjustment on the rear. I will go to longer bolts. I wonder how it ever got that high? I don't know the history of this one.

Someone tried to lower it and turned the bolts the wrong way.... a possibility.
HEY, DONT RAIN ON THE GUYS PARADE,,,
MAN, TAKE IT EASY.
I was waiting for a reply like this. First of all, I counted 30 positive replies in a row, followed by a single "not my cup of tea" reply.
If you think this is raining on the guys parade, you need to check out other forums. PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO NOT LIKE SOMETHING. This forum needs to loosen up.
BTW, its obvious that they adjusted the lowered bolts the wrong way since its higher than stock. I believe the right way would be to turn the lowered bolts counter clockwise. There are several how-tos on here.

Yes but when the same person continues to post similar pics of cars with similar body kits and talks about how ugly they are that is going a little too far. The same person also made some snide remarks to other members posting about the car. Nothing wrong with posting your opinion, good or bad. Simply post it and move on.
Everyone has their on personal style be it good or bad, some folks don't want to drive a run of the mill C5 and be just another sheep in the herd. Bottom line the guy likes his car and that is what matters not what we think. If you are modding your car with what others think looks good than you are going about it the wrong way.
