Default GMPP Reminder

Well here is a reminder for all of you thinking about a GMPP in the near future. October 1st is the date everyone needs to remember, annual price increase for GMPP occurs on that date. Also please do not all call or try to do these on the last week or 10 days of September, I have about 300 plans in my drawer to do right now so I will almost impossible to speak with the last week of Sept. Please help me out and call early so you do not miss out on your plan.
I also have to vent a little about a certain dealership that has taken the initiative to undercut my pricing but yet does NOTHING for the forum members that we help out daily. They beat my pricing and I am the first to admit it but yet they also charge a fee to run your credit card which they do not bother to tell you about. They usually beat my pricing by around $25 which in discussing this issue with Ken he feels his contribution to the Forum for sales things and my expertise with the GMPP's is worth a little extra. This matter has come to my attention a couple of times over the last week and YES I will match any price but I will not lose money on a GMPP plan. Remember I have no sales tax, no additional fee to run your credit card and I feel I provide the best service on the Internet for Extended Warranties. I try to answer Emails within 5 minutes of receipt (during working hours of course) and I will always return your calls.
Well enough ranting and raving, thanks to all of my great previous customers and to my future ones as well.

Dennis is great to work with. I extended my warranty with him in 2 e-mails (info gathering) and 1 phone call (to order).

Thanks for the great support!

When I renew mine, it'll be with Fichtner. Never heard a complaint about your GMPP pricing and service.

I heard that you have to wait until your current GMPP is almost expired to renew. Is this accurate?

I am getting ready to renew and it will be Fichtner.

Absolutely great to deal with, first class dealership when it comes to ordering parts and Ken has answered questions when I have needed help.

It's been a while since I've been involved in retail but I'll bet they're in violation of their vendor agreements with the CC companies. When I was in retail they wouldn't allow a fee to be charged for the 'privilege' of using their cards. That's right, even if you want to charge a 25 cent item. So, unless somethings changed...

Just got our 03 z a couple weeks ago. 18k miles but because of age, dealership said they coudl only give us 3k miles or 3 months without paying for extended plan. we passed on the extended plan...If y'all were in my shoes, would you have gotten the extended plan? should I look into it now?

Thanks,

Josh

Yes, buy the warranty if you still can and hopefully it's a GMPP warranty. Some dealerships even sell an insurance policy on the service contract that refunds the purchase price if you never have any claims. How can you lose on that deal?

Dennis, you are in business. There is no need to justify or apologize for making a profit. If you didn't, you would not be in business long and then who would help us?

Same here. You get what you pay for and great customer service is worth a few extra bucks.

I hate when businesses sneek in those damn fees. I have become very vigilant to ask for the final price, especially at dealer since there is usually a dealer processing fee and it can range from $150 to as high as $650. I spent all day in a dealership to get to the finance part and walked out when I saw that fee. We had negotiated a price then the fee susprise. I waited for the car to be preped and everything. Whole day wasted and I am sure that is what they planned thinking you would not refuse after the car is sitting outside all shined up. Oh sorry Dennis, I got off on a rant also so I know how you feel!!
