Security system stop working!
This morning I decided to take the Vette to work and the car battery was completely dead. I jumped off the car and went on my merry way but when I got to work and pressed the lock button on the remote it didn't work.
I think I blew a fuse but I can't tell which.
Any help?
Thanks!!

The fuses for the driver door locks are in the passenger footwell panel
33 Door Control Module Left
34 Power feed door left
Just a thought but when batteries start to fail it can throw up many random faults. If its an original AC Delco, once its died it can leak. If it is original I'd change it for peace of mind. Acid leaks onto the computers under the tray are very expensive to fix.
You might want to fill out your profile. Its easier to offer advice if members know what year and model you're driving.

I can't find anything else wrong except for the fact that the security system will not activate with the key fob anymore.
I am using a Optima Red top battery. I ditched the original battery sometime ago.
I will check the fuses you suggested.
I am driving a 2000 C5 Coupe.
Thanks again.
