Bilstein Shocks?
I have a 98 coupe with the Z51 pkg. Car has 50K and handling is getting a little jitery on bumpy curves.
Thinking of the Bilstein shock pkg. that is sold as a replacement for the Z51.
Anyone try these and if so please report.
THanks in advance.

When i first got my 98, I was REALLY REALLY unhappy with the handling. Particularly over bumps as you mentioned, even little ones such as the ones that divide freeway lanes.
A combination of switching to Bilstien Sports shocks, as well as getting rid of the runflat tires, completely eliminated the problem. That being said, I'm happy with mine as to resolve handling problems, however I'm not exactly sure if it was the shocks or the tires that did it. Or perhaps it WAS the combination of both.
I can't tell because I did them both at the same time.

Just dump the run flats and get some good rubber on and that effect will go away. The Bilsteins are a good mod however.

I plan on going with Bilstein sport shocks. You can get them from forum vendors and that popular website for around $300 plus shipping.

Thanks
Thanks for the tips and results.
I have a few thousand more miles left on my rears then will consider a non-RFT change.
We'll start with the shocks and I'll let you know.
