that is so hot. i might have to do that this winter when my car is in storage ... after I buy it too of course. Could someone PM me a price and time frame that does it please?

this looks hard to do. I don't want to tear apart my console, so I was going to buy a new one and try it on that. Do I need the console and the console rack/hardware ? #1 and #2 in the pic:

Just #1 I think you would have to remove the whole dash to change #2. I'm sure that there are different ways of mounting a double din HU but what I did is cut the 2 center supports out and made a new bracket to hold the HU. The HVAC unit mounts from the front so all you have to do is drill and tap 2 new holes.
