Been a while since I posted but I had to write and ask a question. My stepson was out this afternoon looking for a used truck and found a Corvette at a nearby used car lot. I asked him about it and all he could remember was it was a 2003 convertible, green with tan interior with about 65,000 miles on it for $23,000. What kinda deal is that? If it is decent, I was thinking about slipping out for a few hours from work and going to check it out. If it is a good deal, what kinds of things should I look for... problems and such?

Are you sure your son didn't get the numbers transposed? $65k and 23k miles? I swear that some Anniversary Ed. owners think their cars might be worth that much, sometimes, particularly a dealer.
But if the numbers are right, and the car is well maintained and straight, that sounds like a killer deal, for an '03 vert, for sure...
Yea seems like a very low price to me even with 65K miles on it... it is an 03. Something seems weird. Check the title and make sure its in good condition.
Pending that it is... Seems like a great deal to me.
They didnt make a Green C5 in 2003, the last year they made a green car was in 2001.
So the car was either repainted or was retitled out of state ...
if its a 2003 with 65K on the clock , thats a lot of miles in three years .
Seems more like a 2001 to me...
23K for a 2003 Vert throws up all kinds of flags for me.

Can't be a 2003 with factory paint if it is green. The last model year that the C5 was available in a green from the factory was 2001 when Dark Bowling Green Metallic could be had.

Sounds a little too good to be true.... Please let us know how this plays out.... what year it was, what color, what condition, price.... etc.
