What are a good set of rotors, and how much would they set me back?

NAPA rotors.
About $25 each. Hard to believe but true, and they work just as well as those costing MUCH more.

either that or spend a few thousand for 2-peice floating rotors.
1 note: paint the hubs before you mount them

I'm currently using base C6 rotors... front and rear.
They have been on for over 25,000 miles with no issues. I drive the car
year round in Michigan, drive it hard and occasionally road race it.
