In two of the roof cleaning web sites (RaggTopp and Zaino) both refer to a table that says refer to GM dealer about what was used on the composition of roof in 2002 models.....cloth -vs- vinyl. I guess both were used?? Anybody ever inquired to GM about their 2002?? Cloth or vinyl? I guess RaggTopp makes a product that you can use on both. Thanks!
I can't answer your question specifically, but I've been using Ragg Topp on my 2000 with good results. I realize thats not the focus of your question.....but Ragg Topp is a quality product.
You may want to try posting over in the Car Care Forum. One of those guys can probably answer your question.

I agree the white tops were vinyl and the Black and Lt. Oak - as well as the Shale tops on the 50th Anniversary cars and the '04 Commemorative cars had cloth. There are no vinyl tops on the C6's.
