I have no patience for DWIs at all! I am grateful that no one got hurt seriously. If he was DWI (Innocent until proven guilty) he deserves the bumps on the head, loosing the car, and maybe even a fine or some time in The Crow-Bar-Hotel.

I'm glad that everyone survived the crash and a big thank you should go out the good samaritians that stopped and helped everyone out.
The woman that was in the vette should have known better than to ride with someone that is drunk and driving eratically. I'm glad she's going to be alright.
As for the driver of the vette, he needs to spend a few years in a jail cell to reflect on his stupity and ignorance. What does it take for people to wise up and just take a cab or stay in hotel overnight if you are out drinking.

it scares the living snot out of me that most folks treat drinking & driving as if it's an entitlement. as the phrase goes "impairment starts with the 1st drink". there is no excuse of any kind for drinking then driving. my bro in law works in a pa state liquor store; he frequently tells us "i never knew that there were that many alcoholics out there." very scary because they all drive. bub
