Has anyone come up with a mod kit yet for installing C6 headlights on a C5? I definitely like the look of the new C6 headlights, and have heard they're brighter than C5 headlights (what a surprise). Presently, I have the European T84 set up with the high wattage bulbs and PIAA driving lights. While I am completely satisfied with the brightness of the T84's, I'm getting tired of the head light motor issues and the cheap look of the headlight bezels.
I'm planning on adding C5R headlights in the spring, but was curious if anyone has done this or even thought of adding C6 lights to a C5. One significant point which I'm unsure of is how the profile of the C6 lights would fit with the C5 front end. If substantial body work would be required, that would not make it a worthwhile alternative for me.
Someone posted a photochop about a year ago. It would need some major bodywork conversion to get them to fit. I also saw an actual conversion using the lights from a Japanese import.
For me though, the headlights are the worst feature of the C6. There are much nicer C5R style conversions which are form fit. JMHO.
It's very difficult, especially because of the angle of the hoods. I bet even the car above has some less-than-perfect lighting performance. But that's to be expected from a show car.
