My name is Justin and i'm new to the site. I currently own a 2003 Ford Mustang Mach1 and am looking into selling it after the first of the year and getting a C5 coupe.
Ok...you get half a welcome. When you get the Vette you get a full welcome..
Only kidding...Welcome and enjoy but no BSM polls please.
I personally like the MACH 1, considering it is one of the few FORD Mustangs I can honestly say is the real deal, because it is a nicely equipped, NA muscle car.
You will learn alot in this forums, you will find that using the search functions is useful too, because the standard questions have been asked more times than I can count.

thanks alot, i appriciate the positive comments
i agree with you, i love the car, but its to much of a hassle for me in the area. to many mustangs and imports draw the cops attention to the part of the city i live in and i've started to be trageted by the cops and followed when i'm not doing anything wrong.

Don't kid yourself - a young guy driving a Vette will draw plenty of unwanted attention from LEO's and the import crowd looking to see what 'ya got....not to mention the Mustang crowd you used to hang with.
It's very tempting to show them - and if you decide to do that...remember to keep on the track. We read too many stories of guys getting themselves into all kinds of heat with LEO's and worse.

Good luck in your search for a Vette!
Thanks though, i appriciate it!
i don't street race. never have and never will. i know to many people that have been in serious accidents from doing that, and its not worth it to me. the kids in the area pretty much leave the vettes around here alone, but there are a few that try to race anything that moves.
Hey Guys PLEASE take it easy on my son he just want to be like all of us and drive the best sports car ever built.
He is right the insurance companys around here will not insure him until he turn 21 and he is getting close (december).
He has driven my car a few times out on the road he is a very good driver and a very responsible young man so i think he should get what he wants when he can afford it.
Well, I love the coupe, but I would look for a decent 1999-2000 FRC. It is a standard, great suspension package and it has that awesome ZO6 look to it. I have found that working on these cars is much easier than I could have imagined and a decent cam and some heads and you got one sweet performing ride. Okay, a stock VETTE is a great performance machine too.
