My ls1 is putting down around....

355 at the r.w.what could I expect if I add say 224/228 cam with a ls6 intake and ls6 heads with a tune.

You have 355rwhp currently? What do have for mods. I'm just curious since I've been modding mine lately. I live right up the street in Stuart. BTW. I'm considering the same cam.

I would go with a 224/228 113 lsa cam at 590 lift and get a good set of LS6 or LS1 ported heads with comp 921 springs. I made 443 RWHP through 4.10's with that combination and cam and had good street ability and ran 10.92 in the quarter in +1000 DA. Never had any engine problems with that combo, it was very reliable. Drove it to Toronto Canada and to Ohio and back and got 28 MPG average. BTW, I also was using 30lb injectors. Cartek sells that exact cam FYI as well as ported heads.
