Your profile says you have an 05 C6, monterey red. Yet you have a picture of a Yellow C6 Z06, and you are posting this in the C5Z06 section.
Also, you met this girl, er excuse me "gorgeous blonde" at a stoplight, she said "is that fast" and she hopped out of her car and in to yours?? LOL.
And as mentioned above, active handling should have kicked in.

You are all correct and I will take heed of all of your comments. The funny part of it all is that I race my Z at Summit Point Raceway in WVA on the weekends with my father ... I just made a mistake and wanted to confess as I know all of you guys have done stupid s@#t as well. Hey at least I admitted I was a dumb F@#k !! And oh yeah, we plan to go see a movie this weekend ... IN HER CAR !!

I have yet to update my profile. i will make the appropriate changes to clear up any confusion. Also, feel free to call Koons CHEVY in Tysons Corner VA and ask them if Brian Feezle bought a Z06 there ... I traded my vert for the Z and I love it !!

Ok, I believe you. My apologies and no offense but I couldn't help but be skeptical when I first read the story. Being around car forums for a while I have seen several cases where smurfs sign on and post BS stories, sort of mocking the community.

You had the ***** to post what almost happened to you, and that is all that matters here. You and the car are safe and that is what is important also. We do stupid $4it for women sometimes. It reminds me of dating this girl when I was in the USAF stationed at Barksdale AFB La. who had a new Camaro. She was going on and on about how fast it was. I was driving a 1967 Mustang at the time. (1983) that was making about 100hp more than her new Camaro. We were driving on base back to the dorms to have some fun, if you catch my drift. We were located far away from the main part of the base, driving down what used to be an old autocross race track. So I mashed the gas to show her how wrong she was, and up ahead was a Security Police Cruiser with the radar on. They clocked me at over 100mph, pulled me over and arrested me on the spot. My first shirt had to get out of bed and get me out of jail. She had to walk home lol! Needless to say, I didn't get any that night, except trouble. $4it happens sometimes.
