Default Easy rotor question

Guys,

I need to know the size of the large bolt holding the rear rotor to the hub? Somewhere around 33-34mm. Anyone have the exact size? I need to go to sears right now and add a new socket to my collection

Thanks

The rear rotors are not held on by that! Once the wheel is removed make sure the star washers are off the lugs then remove the brake calipers. Be sure to have the emergency brake off. The rotors should come off then. Sometimes they are stuck an require a little pursuading they can stick around the hub or the e-brake can hang on them. Do a search there are several threads about rear brakes. Good luck

You're referring to the CV axle nut, don't take that off if your taking your rotors...actually, you probably shouldn't even messin with your vette, take it to a pro who knows!

once you remove the caliper and the clips on the lug bolts the rotors will slide off (or may need a small tapping with a rubber mallet). As stated make sure the emergency brake is off.

for the calipers you remove 2 21 mm bolts and then make sure not to hang it by the brake line while replacing the rotor.
