I'm overwelmed with all the aftermarket stuff that's available, and who I can trust to get top quality items...and without paying an outrageous "corvette tax". If you had to pick 2 or 3 vendors, who would they be? I'm talking mainly about accessories and dress-up more than performance. Thank you in advance.

Not necessarily in order of preference.....
1. Vette Essentials
2. West Coast Corvettes
3. Corvette Central
4. SS Inserts
Thats a little tough because of the variables. For instance I think you have to consider some specialty mods vs run of the mill mods.
For example, WebElectronics is the hands down best vendor IMHO for sequential turn signals. C5Kidd is the best at painted interiors. Southern Car Parts have been very responsive and great to work with. I've had good success with West Coast Corvette. Gene of Gene's KarShop is honest and dependable for used parts and always responsive.
I wouldn't use Ecklers again and I wasn't all that pleased frankly with MidAmerica. The absolute worse has been CorvetteKey. No longer around, but the worse again IMHO.
Ones I personally haven't experienced yet, but planning to do so and to a large part because of the great press they get on this Forum.
1. Elite Engineering
2. GHL
Bottom line, you can't go wrong by following the threads on Forum Vendors response to customer service, quality of products offered and price. Lots of good ones out there and thankfully only a few of the "bad" get flagged pretty quickly.
and don't forget Creative Engine Covers, the best engine chrome around. Best interiors goes to Vette Essentials. I still wish designs specialties was around.
Ive only dealt with CoW (actually my mother did) And it was smooth.
I actually just bought some engine stuff from Vetteshop about 2 mins ago, Hopefully i can say the same.

.....and you will be overwhelmed again before this list is done. Everyone has their favorites, depending on their view of the quality and service they have received. You might want to look at those vendors that show up consistently in these various lists.
I can't say I've had any bad experiences with forum vendors but if I had to narrow the list down I would say
*Corvette Enhancements for their black rear fascia overlay.
*Redline Goods sells affordable/quality leather with great customer service
*Elite Engineering for their frame savers and rocker rails
*Adam's Polishes for all sorts of detailing products.
