help....headlight will not open

help....headlight will not open

went out to eat tonight and after dinner it is almost dark and after it gets dark i noticed the headlights didnot look right, low and behold the left headlight was not open...what to do? easy fix or hard fix?...thanks...

it's probably a gear failure in the motor. pretty easy fix.

Look at Leaftye's sticky at the top of C5 Gen and run down to headlight gears. That describes the problem and the fix.

If there's no noise at all and the motor's not running you have a separate issue.
